In 1882, a 29 year old priest named Michael McGivney founded a charity in New Haven, CT to provide aid and assistance to the families who became fatherless through unsafe conditions in factories. These simple roots evolved into the largest men's Catholic organization with over 2 million members worldwide.

The St. Peter council is made up of 140+ Catholic men with a common goal of serving our parish and community. Thanks to these men, we have achieved the coveted Star Council 4 consecutive seasons, recognizing us as one of Florida's elite. We invite all men 18 and older to consider joining St Peter council. There are no requirement for meeting attendance or any specific program. Simply find what area that interests you to participate in serving our Lord Jesus Christ through KoC recognized programs of Faith, Family, Community and Life. We also offer Christian based financial insurance options.

Knights are called to serve others. Our first principle is Charity - at home with our families and in our communities.
The Knights of Columbus vigorously defend the dignity of each human being at every stage of life.
