St Peter Men, United in Faith and Service

Welcome!
We are the Knights of Columbus of St Peter Parish

Family of the Month
The Frinkles

The Knights of Columbus Council 13139 is proud to name The Frinkle Family as our Family Of The Month. The Frinkles, Wayne and Jennifer, have been members of St. Peter’s Parish for 14 years. Wayne is originally from Jackson, Michigan and has been a Florida resident for 21 years. He is a proud Marine Corps Veteran and has been working for the past 14 years at Tolliver Powder Coating in West Palm Beach. Wayne is a familiar face to the parish community, as he actively volunteers as an Usher, Greeter, Lector and Eucharistic Minister at St. Peter’s. What many parishioners may not know is that he is now in his 3rd year of his Diaconate Program.

Wayne’s Roman Catholic faith journey began 6 years ago when he was initiated through the RCIA program at St. Peter’s. His active volunteering has led him to deepen his commitment to Christ, leading him to answer his calling to the Ordination to the Diaconate Program. When Wayne completes the 5 year program, our parish will be blessed with him performing mass at St. Peter’s. His initiation process is being sponsored by the St. Peter’s parish community, for which Wayne has expressed his deep appreciation.

Wayne and Jennifer have been married for 15 years, they first met in Ft. Lauderdale almost 20 years ago. Jennifer has been a life-long Catholic, originally from Long Island. She has been a school teacher for over 20 years, and is currently teaching at Jupiter Middle School. Jennifer has several  family members living in Jupiter, and between work and family her ties to our Parish are also a blessing.

Wayne and Jennifer are the proud parents of daughter Ava, who is 13 years old and is currently an 8th Grader at Jupiter Middle School, and upon graduation this spring, Ava will be moving onto Jupiter High School. Son Kyle, 24, is currently living in Richmond, Virginia and he and his wife welcomed baby Kinley last summer.

Please say hello to the Frinkle’s when you see them at and around St. Peter’s, they are a wonderful example to all of us of how faith can move and lead us in our daily lives.
